pancit in my mind
while i was out and about with a friend last week, she introduced me to the most scrumptious pancit in town! this new joint is owned by a malaysian lady and she cooks these herself :D they are a bit pricey IMO but i would totally pay without blinking just for a taste of my beloved pancit :D i've been to the place two days in a row now! yes, that good! do check out Fusion Deli at Cooperage Lane! the line might be long during lunch time but its worth it :)

for art's sake
last year, i found this graffiti on the wall of an abandoned shed up in the Rock and thought it was peculiar if not amusing. channeling Che Guevarra no less with a caption of "Viva La Revolucion", a friend thought a line from the movie Planet of the Apes was more appropriate "Take your stinking paws off me, you damn dirty ape!"
last week, another similar graffiti sprung up on a huge bare wall in Market Square (where all the cruise ship tourists pass by) and when i went there to take a pic, the MACHINE has taken it off :( but there was another one inside the Landport Tunnel going to Casemates Square so that one i took a photograph of.
the paper suggested that this could be the work of "Banksy", an anonymous England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director and painter known for his stencilling technique and satirical dark humor.

flea market finds: glass cloche love
i am soooo soooo excited over my latest find! i have been looking for a cut-glass cloche for the longest time and when i saw this beauty at the collector's fair, i immediately saw fireworks! at first i didnt see it because it was below the table (where all the stuff were supposed to be placed). it was also dusty and dirty. the lady whose stall it was said it was part of a lamp but i didn't say anything because i know what it was! bought for £2 :D love, love, love! planning to put some seashells in them to always remind me of summer :D
