flea market finds: care for some tea, luv?

heya! one more day before i get to have tea with the Queen! me and the mister will be away for the next few days for a long-anticipated holiday in London and i can't say if i'd be loving the weather there... though one thing's for sure, i'd sure shop till i drop in between the sites and sounds :)

speaking of tea, look what i found recently:
these 5 simple white porcelain dishwasher and microwave safe teacups were just what i needed for a tea party with the Mad Hatter himself! he'd go absolutely bonkers because they're not too dainty, not too outdated and most importantly, not too busy. am loving the sassy handles too!
do you remember my Scandinavian design post where i posted 2 lovely stainless steel platters with teak handles from Denmark? well, guess what, i found the grand-daddy of em all :) isn't he a beaut? (bought him for a ridiculously low price too)
my favorite, however, is this lovely microwave-dishwasher-oven-freezer safe serving bowl i found under a pile of plastic knick-knacks. i just love the lightness of the blue (or is it regency green?). now i can finally bake that Japanese cheesecake i sooo missed :)
and it doesn't hurt that its from Denby too! a leading tableware and cookware company in the UK that "combine stylish design, exceptional quality and functionality at great prices". they've been making stuff since 1809!
i have been looking for the perfect Christmas stocking thats mainstream but not overpriced for the longest time (since 2 Christmases ago!). there were a bunch of these in my favorite shop but i resisted the temptation to buy all of em (good girl!) because i made a promise to only buy what i need :)
